Online Marketing Head – Games at Paytm

Are you a gamer and passionate about the customers- digital experience then we have an excellent opportunity to lead digital marketing function for our gaming vertical. The key objectives of the Head of Digital Marketing role are to increase leads and conversions, increase brand awareness and customer engagement and retention. The successful candidate will secure a role which is both challenging and rewarding. This role is suitable for an individual who is self-motivated, used to working independently and used to motivating and leading growing teams. Experience in managing and delivering high quality strategic digital marketing campaigns and producing a variety of communications materials is essential. With a genuine passion for wellbeing, you will have a proven track record of creating and implementing a 360 marketing strategy that exceeds expectation. 

Responsibilities : As Digital Marketing Head, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies. You will work closely with different teams to ensure consistency through all channels. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • To drive acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers through authentic, compelling and differentiating marketing campaigns and increased engagement with the current community of businesses within their large network 
  • Devise and deliver marketing communications strategies cross all channels
  • Provide leadership and support for the marketing team, developing talent and driving performance
  • Develop and then embed customer insight across all communications and touchpoints
  • Raise the bar on creative output: defining a creative strategy that sets their brand apart from competitors and executing it consistently across channels
  • Own and manage marketing across owned, earned and paid media channel
  • Forecast, set and then achieve monthly enquiry volumes and viewings targets
  • To ensure all performance marketing KPIs (across SEM, display, social, email) are achieved
  • Create a customer-led content strategy and roadmap that reinforces brand positioning and drives engagement with target audiences
  • Provide direction and guidance to a customer insight function to create a customer segmentation that guides communications and the development of new propositions
  • Manage annual marketing budget 

Experience required:

  • Min 8 years of marketing experience
  • Proven track record of building brands across digital channels
  • Strong social media and content marketing skills
  • Experienced in forecasting and achieving customer acquisition and retention targets
  • Demonstrable success in building customer understanding to develop insight that drive communications and improve performance
  • Team leadership and development
  • Agency management
